Hi friends,

Only 3 more episodes remaining of Wayside - a serial novel for the Covid Conscious community till the story draws to a close. They're coming your way soon!

In the meantime, I'm excited to announce that audio versions of the first two episodes have arrived!

I'm making episodes 1 & 2 publicly available for a short time. Readers/listeners will need to subscribe to my newsletter to continue getting links to future audio episodes. (If you received this email directly, you'll be able to keep accessing all Wayside content).

Curious about the inspiration behind Wayside? Here's my letter from the author.

For episodes 1 & 2, use the links below to find both audio and text versions.

Episode 1: The Auction

Episode 2: The Beginning

Audio versions of episode 3 and all subsequent episodes are forthcoming.

Thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm and support for the Wayside story. I look forward to hearing what you think of the audio versions!

My most recent essay, The Edge of a Rainstorm: A Necessary Conversation About the Arts and Entertainment for the CC Community, delves into our community's relationship with the performing arts. Career performers must often choose between protecting themselves and others from airborne pathogens, or protecting their careers. It's a big problem with no easy fix, but I've got a suggested starting place and some thoughts about how we can do more to support our CC peers in the performing arts.
